It is time for monthly goal setting!
It is hard to believe that it is almost October! September always feels like it is on hyper speed as we are adjusting to post-summer schedules and getting back into the swing of things. This weekend is the perfect time to reflect on where we are and set goals for the month ahead.
Two years ago I started working remotely and for for a year and half I was traveling all over the world and moving every 4-6 weeks. When I set out on this journey, I had major goals. I wanted to start a travel blog, I wanted to create an app that would connect digital nomads all over the world, I wanted to start doing yoga. The list goes on. The problem was I found myself constantly being torn between work commitments, social outings, adventure time and cultural activities. The days fly by, months feel like weeks and before you know it, a new year is upon us. After 6 months, I felt time slipping away. I needed a system and some serious structure. I created a quit-proof goal setting system that helped me actually start accomplishing a lot of my goals and eventually leave my corporate job!
